The band NAYAN is finally releasing their music video for the song, "Alone" (feat. Laura Stevenson) on Saturday August 23rd. Instead of going the usual music video route, the band opted to make the 6-minute centerpiece of the debut album, "Rock N Roll Ruined My Life" into a short film narrative. It's more a mini-movie than a music video, as the musical interludes and lyrics are used to show the ups and downs in navigating any relationship, in any time! The band chose to take a backseat to the central characters, who are played by two seasoned actors: the amazing Bri Houtman & Noah Peterson. A trio of young and local upcoming DMV filmmakers helped bring the vision to life. Director of Photography & Editor: Brian Macdonald, Produced by Charlie Grass and Directed by Jasmine Gates. The free screening will take place directly after the band performs a concert at Forte Festival at Crescendo Studios in Falls Church, VA. It's an outdoor show, all ages, free and the screening is happening on a giant LED truck! 7pm-8:30pm Saturday Aug 24th, 2024.
